Non-photosynthetic corals

Explore non-photosynthetic corals and check their individual feeding and husbandry requirements.

NPS corals do not rely on photosynthesis for their nutrition. Feeding plans vary between species, so confirm suitable food, feeding frequency and nutrient management before buying. A closed-polyp photo may not be enough to identify one.
